Best day 2025

It’s always difficult to choose your best day*. It depends so much on the activity, the location and the company. But this November we were rewarded with an early snowfall and some exceptional weather. Blue skies were joined by a dusting of snow - knee deep on top of Lowfell.

Our recommended walk from the top of the fell winds its way peacefully through rarely walked paths passing the Lone Pine. It’s a perfect place for a coffee stop with a wonderful view around the valley. Four mates and of course Bailey.
